Development is gaining momentum in far southwest Sioux Falls, and the latest project will bring high-end apartments to the area.
The MarQ is being developed by Cresten Properties. It will bring 164 one- through three-bedroom villa-style apartments to the southeast corner of 69th Street and Tallgrass Avenue.
That’s an area that includes Avera Heart Hospital and Sioux Falls Lutheran School and will be served by the future interchange not far away at 85th Street.
“We’re really beefing up not only the amenities but the finishes,” CEO Kevin Tupy said.
The clubhouse will include a shared kitchen, theater room and fitness center, with the new addition of business suites.
They’re areas designed for those working remotely, holding a small meeting or needing to study.
Outdoor amenities will include a swimming pool.
The first apartments are scheduled to open in the fall of 2022.
